I am moving to India!

That's right folks - I am MOVING to India! Back in January, I was presented with an amazing opportunity. It went something like this:

I moved from Monterey, California to Oakland in January, 2009 and was slated to start a Yoga Teacher Training in San Francisco at the end of February. Shortly after settling in with my brother and sister-in-law, a dear family that I babysat for while living in Boston asked if I would be interested in moving to India with them, if they decided to make a temporary move with the father's company.

Without hesitation, I agreed. In short, I withdrew from my Yoga Teacher Training Course, and as soon as I got the thumbs up that we were indeed moving, I packed up my stuff (currently in an attic in Oakland) and headed east to prepare for a new journey - to the FAR east.

I will spend several months with the the family, Steve, Katie, Charlotte (3) and Sophie (4 1/2) in the Southwest region of Delhi. I will travel throughout India, as well as Thailand, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bali, if I can squeeze it all in. I hope to practice yoga, volunteer in many of the places I go, and breathe in all the sites and sounds of these places I have never been. I plan to be there until my Visa expires next May. I will keep you posted as I am able.

Namaste,

Emily
